Greetings. Welcome to BlackHole Photography.com. At this site you will find a wide variety of my amatuer and semi-professional photography. Much of what is on here is meant only to show others the results of the camera that I shoved in their face. Feel free to peruse at your leisure. There will be some galleries which cannot be accessed without a password. If you would like to view these galleries, please feel free to email me at ash (at) blackholephotography.com and I will be more than happy to try and accomodate your request. The same goes for if you would like full resolution versions of any of these photos. The ones which are uploaded are by no means the original versions of the pictures that were taken!

For the record, most images were taken with either a Nikon D2X ("Bessie") or a Nikon D90 ("Roxy"). I do very little post processing because my normal day-to-day job requires that I stare at a computer screen all day and so I avoid it otherwise. However, when it has been done, it's been almost entirely within Adobe Photoshop CS2 or higher. The galleries were all created with the TTG Gallery within Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. And finally, this site was entirely hand coded, however I have very much stood on the shoulders of one Matthew Gaspar, who convinced me single handedly that PHP with CSS was worth the effort and his own photography site served as my inspiration and source.
Below, please find a small selection of my favourite photographs. By no means an exhaustive list, these photos have just been some that I enjoy and which I find myself coming back to look at from time to time. Many of these you will find in various albums throughout the site.
